Robert D. Zaslow

Robert D. Zaslow began practicing his legal career working at Legal Aid in Lima, Ohio in 1994 and has been a family law attorney in the greater Hartford area for more than a decade. His focus remains primarily involved with families in and of divorce, representing litigants and children.

He serves as a Special Master for the Hartford Family Court, the Hartford court’s Early Intervention Program (EIP), the New Britain Family Court, and the Regional Family Trial Docket in Middletown. He continues to serve on the Executive Committee of the Family Law Section of the Connecticut Bar Association, as well as being on the Board of Directors of the Hartford County Bar Foundation.

Continuing an interest in alternative dispute resolution, Attorney Zaslow is a member of the Collaborative Divorce Lawyers Association and is a certified mediator in divorce matters.

Attorney Zaslow holds a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Connecticut and a Juris Doctor from the Claude W. Pettit College of Law at Ohio Northern University.

Scott Allan Sandler

Scott Allan Sandler began practicing law in 1995 as a solo practitioner concentrating in matters involving the Department of Children and Families representing parents, grandparents and foster parents. Since 1995, he has continued this work as well as representation of parties in divorce and custody matters.

Attorney Sandler has served on panels regarding child protection issues, argued before the Appellate Court, and is also a certified mediator in divorce and custody matters.

Attorney Sandler holds a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Connecticut and a Juris Doctor for Nova Southeastern School of Law.

Allan S. Ward, Paralegal

Allan S. Ward is the paralegal for Zaslow & Sandler, and has been a paralegal for more than a decade. Mr. Ward is an instructor at Branford Hall Career Institute, teaching future paralegals administrative law, real estate law, legal transcription/correspondence and paralegal principles.

Mr. Ward’s education includes Connecticut Business Institute for Paralegal Studies, Waterbury State Technical College and Maloney High School of Meriden.
